Our delegation to Conference have returned and are preparing their report which they’ll give to the October General Committee. We were fortunate in that our motion on Justice for the Windrush Generation was chosen as one of those to be debated and was carried. The views of the members of Lewisham Deptford are now Labour Party policy. Labour will repeal the 2014 Immigration Act. The National Policy Forum report was mostly carried and we had met as members to submit our views to that. Labour’s policy making is becoming more democratic.
